*How does the process of buying art work?
Whether you fall in love with an original piece of art straight off my studio easel, or prefer to commission your own piece of art, my goal is to make the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Each piece created, whether of my choosing or something I've painted specifically for you, is painted with individuality, joyfulness and spontaneous freshness. I will keep in contact routinely as I move along on a piece of art.
*If work is commissioned, there is a 25% nonrefundable fee to book studio time for your painting.
*If you've requested a commissioned piece, I will need at least one clear image sent via text, email, or messenger. More than one image is preferred of the subject, if possible. A consultation will be arranged with you before I begin the painting process.
*Shipping fee is in addition to the price of the painting, unless the piece is picked up from my studio. Paintings are always fully insured when shipped.

While I've always leaned toward the creative side, it wasn't until early adulthood I discovered I was most at ease and happiest in front of an easel, a large, blank canvas in front of me, waiting to pour my soul into my paintings; I've never looked back.

I adore the fluidity, ease of manipulation, vibrancy and fast drying quality of acrylics. They're my medium of choice, as can be seen in my portfolio, though I do love colored pencil when I'm seeking technical realism over intuitive immediacy in my work.

What I find most inspiring are the simple, everyday moments in time, seen in a flash, we most often take for granted. Upon closer inspection, there are always fascinating expressions, color, plays of light and emotion running through any given subject, be it animal, human, location or specific architecture. I strive to convey that in each of my paintings.
